Marry A Gypsy
I've always thought gypsies, the travelers, were fascinating. I bought a digital scrapbooking kit by Tangie Baxter called "Gypsy" that was on sale, and created the digital collage below. The boy in the picture is from a free collage sheet you can get from Dezinaworld.

Mail Art Bonanza!
I opened our mailbox today to find a mail art bonanza! My June Yarham from the United Kingdom sent me a decorated envelope full of ATC's and 2 postcards. I had to scan them for everyone to see.

My good online and artist friend Marguerite lost her step mother. I met her several years ago by taking her class, "Red Balloon to the Sky." I hope this digital collage will in some way help ease her sorrow. My prayers and thoughts are with her always.

My castle in Spain, is a place of delight,
Where I joyfully wander at morning and night;
Of all life's high pleasure the happiest hours
Are those I devote to its fountains and flowers.
Whenever my mind in a reverie swings,
Hope bears me away on her jubilant wings.
To leave me, forgetful of care and of pain,
A fortunate prince at my castle in Spain.
My castle in Spain, oh, its caskets of gold,
Of rubies and pearls, are a joy to behold;
And riches for which I must ever despair
In this workaday world, are awaiting me there.
Fond favors of fortune, that brighten and bless,

Under The Sea
It was 96 degrees here today, and tomorrow it's suppose to hit 100. Adding in the humidity, it's suppose to feel like 110. I must have felt like cooling off when I created the picture below.

Bunny Rabbit
Oh no. This is what retirement has done to me. And it's only been two weeks! Actually, I'm taking another Suzi Blu class. The first picture has a bunny in it. Hers was pink, but I just didn't feel like working with a pink bunny. When the multi-media picture is finished, it's suppose to have bee wax on it. It should be pretty cool. I'm putting the bunny on my blog, well, just because. I get happy when I'm finally able to make myself draw something. :^)
